Effective Date: July, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Printer App, a macOS printing, document preview, PDF conversion, and PDF resizing utility (“Printer App,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using Printer App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not download, access, or use Printer App.
1. Apple Standard End User License Agreement
Printer App is distributed through Apple’s Mac App Store.
Your use of Printer App is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), available at:
https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA regarding your licence to use the App, the Apple Standard EULA will apply to the extent of that conflict.
Printer App is licensed to you and is not sold to you.

3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Printer App.
If you are under the legal age of majority in your country or region, you may use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the App, you represent that you satisfy these requirements.
4. Licence to Use the App
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use Printer App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s applicable usage rules.
This licence is provided only for personal, educational, professional, or internal business use.
No ownership rights in Printer App are transferred to you.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, rent, lease, resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to obtain the App’s source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, ownership, or legal notices
- Use the App to violate any law, regulation, contractual obligation, or third-party right
- Use the App to process, reproduce, convert, print, or distribute content that you do not have the right to use

6. Your Files and Documents
Printer App may access files that you voluntarily choose to import, open, preview, convert, resize, save, or print.
You retain ownership of your documents, images, PDF files, text files, and other content.
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring that you have permission to use, modify, convert, save, and print your files
- Keeping backup copies of important files
- Verifying your documents before printing, converting, resizing, overwriting, or saving them
- Selecting the correct printer, print settings, paper size, page range, scale, orientation, and number of copies

We do not claim ownership over files processed using Printer App.
7. Local File Processing
Printer App is designed to perform its main file-processing functions locally on your Mac.
Files selected for previewing, PDF conversion, PDF resizing, saving, or printing are not intentionally uploaded to our servers.
Printer App does not provide cloud backup or permanent storage for your files. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for choosing appropriate save locations.
Deleting the App, clearing App data, changing system permissions, moving a file, renaming a file, or deleting a file may affect recent-file references or access to previously used documents.
Additional information is available in our Privacy Policy:
https://smartiprinter.blogspot.com/2026/06/privacy-policy.html
8. Printing and Printer Compatibility
Printer App uses printing features provided by macOS.
Printer availability and printing performance may depend on:
- Your Mac and macOS version
- Printer hardware
- Printer drivers or manufacturer software
- USB, wireless, Bluetooth, or network connectivity
- Printer configuration
- Ink, toner, paper, and printer status
- File type, file size, page layout, font, image, or document compatibility
- Features supported by your selected printer
We do not manufacture, own, operate, control, or provide technical support for third-party printers, printer drivers, printer networks, or printing supplies.
We do not guarantee that every printer, file format, page size, driver, or printer-specific feature will work with Printer App.
Before completing a large print job, you should verify your settings and consider printing a test page.
9. PDF Conversion and Resizing
Printer App may allow supported files to be converted into PDF format or PDF pages to be resized.
Conversion or resizing may result in changes to:
- Formatting
- Fonts
- Page breaks
- Image quality
- Resolution
- Margins
- Orientation
- Metadata
- Colours
- Transparency
- Interactive elements
- Links
- Forms
- Annotations
- Document accessibility information
Not every feature contained in an original document can be preserved during conversion or resizing.
You are responsible for reviewing the final output before printing, sharing, submitting, publishing, or relying on it.
Printer App is not a certified document preservation, archival, legal filing, prepress, or professional publishing service.
10. Recent Files
Printer App may store basic recent-file information locally on your Mac, such as:
- File name
- File path or local file reference
- File type
- Last opened date
A recent-file entry does not guarantee that the original file continues to exist or remains accessible.
A recent file may become unavailable if it is moved, renamed, deleted, stored on a disconnected external drive, or if macOS permissions change.
Removing an item from the recent-files section may remove only the reference shown in Printer App and may not delete the original file from your Mac unless the App clearly states otherwise.
11. Purchases and Subscriptions
Printer App may offer free features, paid features, one-time purchases, auto-renewable subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, or promotional offers.
The exact subscription duration, price, currency, trial period, included features, and billing terms will be displayed in the App and on the Apple purchase confirmation screen before you complete a purchase.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple and are subject to the terms of your Apple Account and the App Store.
Auto-Renewal
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them through your Apple Account before the applicable renewal date.
Your Apple Account will be charged according to the subscription plan and price displayed at the time of purchase or renewal.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Deleting Printer App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Free Trials
When a free trial is offered, it may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless it is cancelled before the trial ends.
Eligibility for free trials and introductory offers is determined by Apple and may be limited to eligible users.
Restoring Purchases
Where supported, you may use the “Restore Purchases” option in the App to restore eligible purchases associated with the same Apple Account.
We cannot transfer purchases between different Apple Accounts.
12. Payments and Refunds
Apple processes App Store payments, taxes, billing, subscription renewals, payment methods, purchase verification, and refund requests.
We do not receive or store your complete payment card information.
Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. Any refund request for an App Store purchase should be submitted through Apple’s available purchase-support or refund process.
We cannot directly issue, approve, reject, or process App Store refunds.
13. Privacy
Your use of Printer App is subject to our Privacy Policy:
https://smartiprinter.blogspot.com/2026/06/privacy-policy.html

You are responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy before using the App.
14. Intellectual Property
Printer App, including its software, design, interface, graphics, text, icons, branding, features, arrangement, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to the App provider and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
“Printer App” and associated branding may not be copied, imitated, or used without permission.
These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, branding, copyrighted materials, or other intellectual property except as necessary to use the App under the licence granted in these Terms.
15. Third-Party Services and Terms
Printer App relies on certain Apple-provided and system-level services, including macOS, the App Store, StoreKit, file-selection tools, document frameworks, and the macOS printing system.
Printing may also involve third-party printers, printer manufacturers, drivers, network equipment, or services.
Your use of these services may be subject to separate terms, licences, warranties, and privacy practices provided by Apple or the applicable third party.
You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms when using Printer App.
We are not responsible for third-party hardware, software, services, websites, drivers, network connections, content, policies, availability, security, or performance.
16. Updates and Changes to the App
We may release updates that add, modify, improve, replace, limit, suspend, or remove features.
Some updates may be required for compatibility, security, subscription verification, legal compliance, or continued operation.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available permanently or that the App will support every previous version of macOS, printer, file format, or hardware configuration.
Your ability to use the App may be affected if you do not install available updates or if your Mac no longer meets the App’s technical requirements.
17. Availability
We try to provide a reliable experience, but we do not guarantee that Printer App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible, or error-free.
The App may temporarily or permanently become unavailable because of:

- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy

19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Printer App.
This includes, without limitation:

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from Printer App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or its applicable subscription during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some countries or regions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. In such locations, these limitations apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law.

- You attempt to bypass purchases or subscription restrictions
- Your use creates a security, legal, or technical risk
- Suspension or termination is required by Apple, a court, or applicable law
- The App is discontinued
Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends. Sections that should reasonably survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions, will remain effective.

You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws when using Printer App.
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to an applicable United States government embargo and that you are not included on an applicable government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You may not export, re-export, or use Printer App in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
23. Apple-Specific Terms
You and the App provider acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are entered into between you and the App provider, not Apple.
- The App provider, not Apple, is responsible for Printer App and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Printer App.

Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice before material changes take effect.
Your continued use of Printer App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
26. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Apple Standard EULA, and the applicable App Store purchase terms constitute the agreement governing your use of Printer App.
